Our Deputies and Assistants are our Managers of the future, involved in all aspects of running the pub. The role is hands-on and extremely varied; an ideal opportunity to gain knowledge and experience, developing the skills required to run their own pub in the future. All of our Deputy and Assistant Managers are fun loving, genuinely care about people and thrive on giving the very best customer service.
Bar and Waiting Staff
We’re always on the lookout for friendly people with outgoing personalities who enjoy delivering great service to our customers. The potential here is enormous, whether someone is looking to work a few hours a week behind a bar or waiting-on or would like to kick start a full-time career in hospitality, we will develop a training plan to suit any career and personal requirements.

Our Head Chefs are a vital part of our business, the lifeblood of what we do. They are passionate about preparing and serving seasonal, fresh food; they love creating new dishes and leading from the front during a busy service. In Pearmain the majority of our senior kitchen team has been promoted from within and they are proud to train and develop their team members to become Head Chefs of the future.
Our Sous Chefs are real foodies who love cooking and being part of a busy service. They are passionate about working with seasonal, fresh produce, creating new dishes and supporting the head chef to develop the team. Our Sous Chefs are confident running the kitchen in the absence of a Head Chef and have ambitions to one day lead their own team, which is an ambition that is often fulfilled, with Pearmain’s commitment to promoting from within.
